20th Class Reunion

I can't believe that it has been 20 years!  We ate at Harvey's in Starkville and we were able to watch Alabama slaughter MSU in the Bulldog room of the restaurant.  :(  But, we had a great time catching up and reminiscing.  Wish more would have showed, but it was great to see the ones who did come.

Not sure where Brian is here! ??

Some of my buddies;  Sherry, Dallas, Melissa, Jemmy Anne

One of our favorite classmates, Walter

My Little Cook

MM begged me one night to let her make cookies all by herself.  Of course, I had had a long day and did not want to pursue this, but she begged long enough and I gave in.  I placed on the counter top all of the ingredients and let her go.  She really surprised me.  I helped her with the oven, but she did most everything else herself.  I was very  proud of her.

Great tasting sugar cookie!

She was so proud!

We usually do not make it to the Doler family reunion, but we did this year.  Here is a picture with Granny Doler.  This is Brian's mom's side of the family.

Nathan's Field Day and Spirit Week

Most of the days Nathan did not dress up, but this was either baby day/Senior citizen day.  Nathan came up with the idea that he wanted to do both, so he was a senior citizen with a diaper.  :)  So weird!

This a was Nathan's first Field Day at Snowden.  Each student was placed on a different color team. Nathan's team was orange, which he loves because of Florida Gators.  The previous day he had dressed up like a Florida Gator fan and carried Albert, his gator pillow pet to school. So, this was an easy color for him to dress in.  Each team was scored on completing the task, teamwork, and sportsmanship.  The orange team won third place and won a homework pass.  This was HUGE for both of us!  Hs assignment load is heavy!  He even sprayed his hair orange!

Sixth grade beat the seventh grade in tug-of-war.  They were so excited!

Nathan's Projects

Our Fall Break consisted of a few projects that Nathan had due.  They have been reading The Hobbit in Literature class.  Nathan has really enjoyed the story.  A portion of his project was to make their own alphabet using symbols for each letter.  Part of the grade is on neatness.  Nathan struggles greatly with this.  It is so hard for me not to just do it for him....although I am not sure it would be much neater .  :)
He tried his best and worked very hard.  He called it his masterpiece.  :)

Proud little man

He also had a Science experiment.  It was on diffusion.  It was pretty cool.

Notice the shirt off....he keeps his shirt off at home.  I guess it's a be cool thing.  I don't ask!  :)
