Thanksgiving 2010

We had such a blessed Thanksgiving. Brian's family from Texas, Georgia, and Indiana all came down. Some we have not seen in 2 or three years. It was so much fun, and a lot of kids!! I got to see my brothers and their families who I haven't seen in months. I wanted to share some of the moments we were able to share. We had Christmas with Brian's family, since they all will not be able to come back for Christmas. The kids got to open their first presents of the season, which they loved! Thanks to the fam for the many gifts and the good times!

Saturday was an exciting day for me. I got to watch my Bulldogs defeat Ole Miss. I have been wanting a cowbell for a long time, but do not have one. Before the game, my mom found this old cowbell of my grandfathers. I rang this with passion during the game. Brian left and went back to his moms. :)) To those of you who don't know, we are a split family. He is a rebel, excuse me, a black bear...just had to throw that in. Rumor is that I have a new MSU cowbell coming on Christmas Day...we'll see! GO DAWGS!

Gram, Brian's grandmother, knits everyone a stocking when they enter the family. This is all her children, grand kids, their spouses, and great grands! Wow!

...and they were all filled with goodies!

Brian's aunts all brought supplies to make up shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. We had an assembly line going. Mari Morgan really enjoyed this!

I have not gotten the nerve to even go off the first level. I just take pictures of others.

We are so blessed to have such wonderful families!

Mari Morgan was in her first ballet performance, The Nucracker, on November 20th. Grandma, Pop, and JoJo came to watch. The program was 2 hours long, and she was only on the stage about 3 minutes total. :( She was so excited. She was a toy soldier. She did a great job! Cameras were not allowed, and I was not allowed to take one of her in her outfit. They had a photographer backstage taking pictures, which I will be able to purchase later. We enjoyed watching her on stage.

Mari Morgan's Loves

Mari Morgan has changed so much this year. She is definitely independent, growing up way too fast, and becoming quite the "know it all". She has lost all of her "baby" look, and it is killing me! On a positive note, she continues to possess a soft, tender heart, and loves to help others.

These three ride the shuttle bus together every day to and from Hernando Elementary. Though they are not in the same class, they love to play together when they can. MM can't wait to get off the bus and play with them after school while mom gets things together for the next day in her room. She loves it!

MM, Mary Brett, and Addison. They were all dressed in red, white, and blue here for their Veterans Day program at school. MM has on a red and white bow too, its just hard to see.

She loves dance class!

She loves dressing up with her American Girl dolls!

Pop brought her not one, but three different pairs of glasses. She doesn't need them, but she loves to wear them.

I think she looks pretty cute!! :)

We love you, Mari Morgan!

Halloween 2010

I don't like anything about Halloween, but the kids always want to dress up and trick or treat. This year MM was a Barbie cheerleader and Nathan was a football player, of course. We went to a friend's house and grilled out. We had a lot of fun.

Mari Morgan insisted "Amber", the scarecrow, be in the picture. :)
