During Spring Break, we had the opportunity to go help a church plant in Metarie, Louisiana. The guys helped with 8 Days of Hope the first day, while Holly, Mari Morgan and I helped a school in the area organize a room. The second day, we were able to join the men for a short time that morning and helped paint a ladies house that had been damaged from Hurricane Issac. In the afternoon, we helped get ready for a block party for the new church plant., while the men continued at 8 Days of Hope. This was a special trip for our family as Nathan and Mari Morgan got to see first hand what a mission trip really was. Nathan helped build a fence, and Brian said that he worked so hard. I was so proud of him. He said he wants to go and stay the full 8 days. :) Maybe he can someday. Mari Morgan really enjoyed helping out at the school and playing with the church plant children. It was a great trip and we look forward to going back in the near future.

It was a beautiful park, and even had a carousel
They had a bus come to the party that had nothing but games inside. Nathan was beside himself!!! :) It was called Games 2 u. It is a game center on wheels that you can rent. It was really cool.
There were 3 screens outside as well.
